Local commitment

We love being in Prospect and part of the broader community of the North Adelaide area. It’s overwhelmingly satisfying to see the impact of our work in the people who walk the same streets we walk. These are the people who run businesses, raise families, support schools and sport clubs and make this community active and effervescent as it is.

You can see us like clockwork at the local events run by the City of Prospect and we love discussing community engagement and brainstorming ideas at professional development events organised by the local council and community.

Our existence since 1984 is deeply intertwined with the growth, development and support of the people around us and we are hugely grateful. Therefore, we are committed to giving back to our community at every opportunity. We believe any contribution, no matter how small, can make a difference in one’s life and we want to do our part.

Because we’re a small business, we’re proud to have the freedom and strength to choose to help people who may be struggling. Since 2014, our clinic has given an average of approximately $10,000 in pro bono physiotherapy treatments each year. Annually we choose to specifically donate to Canteen, Cancer Council Australia and the Hospital Research Foundation.

We’re also committed to supporting projects that help improve South Australia’s natural environment. Since 2018 our clinic has supported the SA non-profit Trees for Life with voluntary time given to assist on major re-vegetation projects, as well as donations to their Trees for Habitat program.
